We all want our lives to make a difference. Discover where God is already at work and join Him! One of the best ways to meet people, develop deeper relationships, and grow as a follower of Christ is to serve the local church.

Places to Serve

The Nursery is a great place for anyone to enter ministry service. You won't only be caring for children, you will be caring for the spiritual well-being of entire families by holding a baby or playing with a toddler while parents learn and worship or use your encouraging attitude to help children grow closer to the Lord in our two Sunday morning classes for kids. Small Group Leaders lead easy life-application discussions with 4-8 kids.  Sign me up!

Help preteens hold onto faith as they transform from children to teens during those tween years in the Flight 56 Ministry. Flight 56 volunteers bring passion, energy, and fun to their work with preteens to help them come to know Jesus as Savior and as Lord in their daily lives. Sign me up!

Walk beside students during their transitional years in a variety of small ways that make a big difference through service, helping, welcoming and discipleship. Sign me up!

Use your knowledge of basic car maintenance and the gift of hospitality to help those in financial need to maintain their vehicles. The Calvary Car Care ministry offers a car "inspection" (not state inspection) and basic maintenance and repair several times a year by appointment for both attenders of the church as well as friends and community members. This is a practical way to make a difference with the love of Christ in someone else's life. Sign me up!

Use your desire to make a welcome place for hospitality through serving in the Eternal Perks Cafe on Sunday mornings. You will be responsible for preparing coffee and making sure the cafe is tidy. Positions are also available for clean-up duty after the 11:15 service, which entails rinsing air pots, wiping counters and tidying up. Sign me up!

Use your hospitality skills and outgoing personality to welcome visitors to the church. Volunteers collect information from newcomers, assist with children's check in and escort them to designated areas. Their goal is to make Calvary a warm, welcoming, and inviting environment for visitors. Sign me up!

Use your home as a place for discipleship and shepherding for a small group—you don't need to be a teacher or a facilitator. Make coffee and provide a comfortable, inviting environment for fellowship and spiritual discussion led by a small group that needs a host home. Ideally you will be able to fit 12 to 18 people comfortably in your living room. Sign me up!

Use your green thumb to keep the outside of the church looking beautiful. The grounds keeping ministry helps maintain the landscape on a routine basis. Volunteers should have some knowledge or a willingness to learn gardening and a passion to see the outside of the church look its best, especially on Sundays. Sign me up!
